Ottawa HVAC/R Service Technician Jobs – Requirements & Responsibilities
You must be available to provide same day, and or emergency HVAC and Refrigeration service and repair for all major brands, and you must provide your own vehicle. We provide Long-term, full time employment.
- Must be willing to promote products and services on every call (Commissions Paid)
- Experience with generating sales leads by enrolling customers in new service plans (Commissions Paid)
- Must have Professional and courteous phone etiquette
- Punctuality and dependability a must
- Appliance Technician certification or willingness to obtain one
- Must have experience diagnosing and servicing gas/propane/oil furnaces, central air conditioners, bonus if you have experience with HRV, split ductless systems and/or tankless systems.
- Also experienced at hot water tank installations, running new gas lines, bbq hookups and gas fire places. Boiler experience would be great too but not mandatory for the position.
- Duties include: HVAC Service: diagnose issues with HVAC equipment, provide a solution, provide a price based on our flat rate price structure, perform the repairs and collect at the completion of the job. Maintenance on HVAC equipment (as needed).
- Must be able to work diligently without supervision
- Knowledge of refrigeration/air conditioner and other HVAC code
- Basic computer knowledge
